The challenge: Precision curvature meets high resolution

Designing a small-pixel-pitch cylindrical screen presents unique engineering and manufacturing challenges:
Perfect circular splicing: With a fine pixel pitch of P2.5, even a 0.5mm structural misalignment would cause visible dark lines or pixel distortion. The “can shape” required flawless transitions at the top and bottom rims to mimic a real beverage can.
Heat dissipation in enclosed structures: Cylinder screens are enclosed systems. Ensuring efficient heat dissipation without loud cooling fans was critical for commercial performance.
Smooth content mapping: Standard video content is rectangular. The system needed to support seamless 360-degree video mapping so the content flows naturally around the can shape without stretching.

Our Solution & Technical Highlights

1. Premium P2.5 Flexible LED Modules- To achieve the perfect, smooth curvature of a beverage can, we utilized our proprietary P2.5 flexible LED modules. These modules feature high-grade flexible PCBs and durable silicone masks, allowing them to bend seamlessly without damaging the SMD lamps.

2. CNC High-precision structural frame- Our engineering team designed a custom internal steel frame using high-precision CNC machining. This guaranteed that the circular cabinet possessed an absolute mathematically perfect radius, eliminating any gaps or bezel lines during assembly.

3. Stunning Visuals & High Refresh Rate- Equipped with top-tier driver ICs, this display delivers 3840Hz refresh rate and wide color gamut. This ensures that when consumers or influencers take photos or videos of the “LED Can” with their smartphones, there are no screen flickers or scan lines.
